Rooms have been developed to encourage a community atmosphere whilst providing campers with their own space.
All Bunkrooms Have Their Own En-Suite. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming with heating and air-conditioning in every room.
LEADERS & TEACHERS
We have special accommodation for our camp leaders. There is the choice of separate male and female bunkrooms with en-suites. We also provide our camp leaders with a private meeting area and refrigerator.
Our dining room is a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals by the open wood fire. The dining room has heating and air conditioning with a serving area attached. The dining room is separate to the conference room. However the dining room and conference room can be opened up together to create a larger dining experience if required.
The conference room is a multi-use room, capable of holding 100 guests. The room has a large screen television, DVD player, portable speaker with wireless microphone and whiteboard. The room is perfect for movie nights, trivia nights, discos, live music and playing an array of fun indoor games. It’s fully carpeted with heating and air-conditioning therefore great for rainy days! This room is perfect for worship and retreats.
We have three additional recreation rooms. The first is a large rustic activity arena with a rubber floor. This provides our campers with a great indoor area to play indoor cricket, soccer, indoor archery and a variety of other physical activities. In the warmer weather the area is also great for band and drama rehearsals.
The recreation rooms have air conditioning and many religious groups use this space for worship.
A smaller recreation room is ideal for craft activities as well as building scarecrows and playing some of our giant games.
Adjacent to the conference room is our table tennis room. Table tennis bats are provided. However if more indoor space is needed the table can be packed away. The table can be packed away if extra indoor space is needed.
An ideal place to finish the day.
Campers can gather to enjoy story-telling, sing-a-longs and stargazing. Firewood and cooking utensils are provided but don’t forget the marshmallows!

At Golden Valleys we want to make sure our campers enjoy plenty of delicious and nutritious food. Our menus are designed by our in-house chef who delivers home-style, fresh, great tasting food that both students and adults love. We can also work along-side your individual requests to provide specialty cultural and dietary needs. We can also successfully meet the needs of campers with food allergies. Furthermore, community and weekend guests can also request a self-catering option.
The food was exceptional quality at Golden Valleys Lodge.

I required a low FODMAP (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, and Polyols) diet. The low FODMAP food was excellent-very tasty, nutritious, filling and appropriate which is not easy.
