You will find yourself in a bright space with timber floors, kitchenettes and a level of comfort and amenity not often found at a school camp! We are sure this space will impress!

In addition to providing a full program and highly supportive camp staff, we offer teachers one of the best camp accommodation experiences in Victoria.

We understand that organising your students and preparing for camp is no small undertaking! Therefore it’s our priority that teachers feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.

Our aim is to facilitate positive interactions between teachers and students with a focus on character building & encouragement.

Our staff provide this opportunity by handling every detail of your stay! We facilitate all meals, taking special care of dietary requirements. Our trained instructors provide high energy adventure programs, team building activities, evening firesides and a night program!

We are located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, about an hour south of Melbourne CBD. Here at Golden Valleys you won’t find screen time on the program! Fresh air, incredible challenge activities and adventure will be in abundance!

Catering for schools from all over Victoria, we offer lodge accomodation along with a wide range of adventure and team building activities. We also offer an incredible camping site with national park hikes for journey camps.

GV staff were terrific and looked after us. Food was great as was flexibility of staff around student pickiness. Everyone was full and nourished. Activities were terrific and well run. We had a great time.

All staff were so accomodating and caring. Any interactions had with students and staff were empathetic and realistic. Dietary requirements were well catered for and I appreciate the willingness of your kitchen staff to make changes to individual needs as required. Activity staff were great. The added equipment you had for us to use for creek studies/obstacle course was well received. Flying Fox and Giant Swing were a hit as always. Golden Valleys grounds were beautiful.

Student Program

Our school camps programs team are available to run high energy and team building activities with students from 7.30am to 9pm.
We encourage kids to try something new and adopt a positive “I CAN” attitude during their school camp adventure.

Teachers

The beautiful Ridgeview Retreat, adjacent to the students lodge, accommodates teachers with 3 separate units, totalling 30 beds, 7 of which are doubles.
Complimentary tea and coffee available to teachers and leaders at all times in our freshly renovated dining room with kitchenette.

Catering

Our hospitality team offers delicious and nutritious meals.
Great care is taken to accommodate allergies.
Menus are designed by our in house chef to ensure alternative meals don’t leave anyone feeling left out.
Meals are shared together in our large dining hall.

Facilities

Large cabins accommodate up to 116 campers. With each room having access to ensuits.
Cabins are comfortable and welcoming offering heating, cooling and ensuits.
Base camp experiences available at our creeekside landing bordering the National Park
Our large indoor activities barn is used for physical activity games including archery, cricket & soccer.
Dining room doors open to our conference room.
