Groups Are Welcome!
We love having schools at Golden Valleys, but our camp is also open to any group wanting an adventure packed weekend.
From university groups to religious groups we welcome any group to Golden Valleys and our facilities ensure a great time for all!
We are also open in the school holidays if your group would prefer a mid-week camp.

Large Areas For Meetings & Rehearsals

We have three additional recreation rooms. The first is a large rustic activity arena with a rubber floor. This provides our campers with a great indoor area to play indoor cricket, soccer, indoor archery and a variety of other physical activities. In the warmer weather the area is also great for band and drama rehearsals.

 

The recreation rooms have air conditioning and many religious groups use this space for worship.

 

A smaller recreation room is ideal for craft activities as well as building scarecrows and playing some of our giant games.

 

Adjacent to the conference room is our table tennis room. Table tennis bats are provided. However if more indoor space is needed the table can be packed away. The table can be packed away if extra indoor space is needed.

Golden Valleys can accommodate up to 112 guests in specially designed dormitory-style bunk rooms.

Rooms have been developed to encourage a community atmosphere whilst providing campers with their own space.

All Bunkrooms Have Their Own En-Suite. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming with heating and air-conditioning in every room.

LEADERS
We have special accommodation for our camp leaders. There is the choice of separate male and female bunkrooms with en-suites. We also provide our camp leaders with a private meeting area and refrigerator.

Catering

At Golden Valleys we want to make sure our campers enjoy plenty of delicious and nutritious food. Our menus are designed by our in-house chef who delivers home-style, fresh, great tasting food that both students and adults love. We can also work along-side your individual requests to provide specialty cultural and dietary needs. We can also successfully meet the needs of campers with food allergies. Furthermore, community and weekend guests can also request a self-catering option.

  • Recipes have been developed in house to ensure the alternative meals are just as delicious so no one feels they are missing out
  • Our kitchen staff are trained in allergies and put special care into each meal. Consequently nuts are not allowed on site and we do not cook with any nut products
  • Specially decorated birthday cakes for children or children at heart with a birthday on camp
  • Dining can also be inside or outside depending on the weather
  • Fruit is always available
  • Coffee and tea always ready for teachers
  • We can do packed picnic lunches for groups leaving early or going out for the day Our meals meet Nutrition Australia’s food standards
  • Option to turn one of the lunches into a group activity and have students cook jaffles on the campfire
